Description

Once the Parkville All-Weather Wicker Conversation Set gets to your house, you're going to sit outside for the same reason that people climb mountains, chase tornadoes and post videos of themselves doing amateur dirt-bike stunts on Youtube. You'll do it because you can. And you'll be able to sit outside in any season, thanks to the resin wicker exterior on a steel frame that makes up this all-weather set. Resin wicker is similar in appearance to wicker, but its plastic-based form resists moisture, wear and rot. Four seat cushions are also included, covered in a beige outdoor fabric that complements the variegated brown tone of the wicker. The center coffee table includes a glass top to complete the look of this modern outdoor ensemble. Each chair weighs 18 lbs, the coffee table weighs 12 lbs and the loveseat weighs in at 32 lbs. Some assembly is required.

About the cushions
While this cushion fabric is highly water-repellent, if left out in the rain or under sprinklers, it will absorb moisture along the stitching. We recommend that you cover the cushions or store them indoors when not in use. If the cushions do get wet, stand them on their side and allow the water to drain out of the stitched seam. To clean, use mild dish soap and water, do not use harsh chemicals.

        I really like the look and comfort of this set! I searched for months for a conversation set that I could afford and would still be substantial enough to last. I put the set together last night by myself and it took me a few hours to assemble. I'm sure with a second pair of hands it would have gone much quicker. I like that this set is modern and streamlined. It really fits my taste, and it fits in a tight area on my front porch. I have found the furniture to be comfortable with or without the cushions. I'm really happy I made this purchase.

        The instructions say that the total assembly time is 40 minutes, but it seemed like 40 hours. Very difficult to line up the bolts into the threaded inserts. Also using the small and useless allen wrench gets you no where. After some brainstorming it was quicker to assemble using a 4mm hex bit on a 3/8 drive ratchet. But seriously it took me 4+ hours to get it all together but it was worth it as it is a very nice set. When all was done, I tried it out with a cold beer and found out just how rewarding it can all be. You will not be disapointed.

            This is metal construction with I think plastic looking wicker wrapped around metal- Seems really cheap and I am uncertain it will even last one season. I would of packed it back up and returned if I hadn't spent over 2 hours trying to assemble !!

              The look of this set really caught our eye. Many of the resin wicker sets out there really have a more traditional look and feel. Not the Parkville, it fits our transitional to contemporary taste perfectly. This piece is well made, light weight, easy to move around.
